mW stands for milli-watt and is the power of a laser pointer. The higher the power output, the brighter the laser pointer will be.
The wavelength of a laser pointer determines the color of the laser. Wavelength is measured in nm or nano-meters. For example, Lasersman green laser pointers have a wavelength of 532nm and red laser pointers have a wavelength of 650nm.
Q3: Why are green laser pointers more expensive?
Green lasers are the brightest of all visible laser colors. While the exterior of our laser pointers are all very similar, the green laser diode within the laser pointer is actually much more complex when compared to red laser pointers.
The duty cycle is the amount of time you can leave the laser powered on. For laser pointers, we recommend leaving it on for no more than 100 seconds at a time. After 100 seconds of use, please allow the laser pointer to rest for at least 30 seconds.Lasersman portable lasers have a continuous duty cycle, that is, portable lasers can be powered on continuously without rest.
Q5: How do I clean the lens of my laser?
If your laser pointer is emitting a laser beam is looks “scattered,” you may need to clean the lens of your laser pointer.

You can purchase a laser directly online via our shopping cart system. After choosing your desired laser model, enter the quantity you wish to purchase. Upon doing so, click on the "Add to Cart" button and follow the instructions to check-out. We accept major credit cards. We also accept payments via a PayPal account. If you choose to pay via PayPal, you will be automatically directed to PayPal’s secure server during the checkout process. To make sure our checkout page is secure before making a purchase, take a look at your web browser's url box, the website's url should begin with a "https". It is a good habit to check the security of the website before entering your credit card information on any website.
Q8: What are your shipping policies?
Our lasers are shipped worldwide via USPS. We offer free shipping all over the world. For most states of the USA, the order will get to you in 7 -14 BUSINESS DAYS. And for most other countries, it will take 20-50 BUSINESS DAYS (depending on your location).
Q9: How will I know if my order went through?
After making your payment, check your email. You should receive an order confirmation almost immediately.
Q10: Is there a return policy?
Yes, if you are not satisfied with the product within 7 days of receiving it, return it for a full refund minus all shipping costs. Contact service@lasersman.com for additional information and procedures.
